06. Building Regulations Whilst a Planning Application is normally required for most alterations to dwellings, a Building Regulations application is mandatory for all new building work.
We will therefore work with you to submit a set of Building control drawings showing structural, thermal, construction and technical details.
We usually work in conjunction with a Structural Engineer and Energy Consultant before submitting a Building Control application on your behalf (typical fees for a Building Control Application can range from £280 to £560 for an extension - dependent on its size, to around £700 for a new dwelling. Again, individual projects will require their own calculations).
